Joking about jobs they could do
before the machines take them in twenty or so.
Moaning about money without meaning a mortgage;
A broken crystal ball of a future where they never afford a house.
'I got an A' gets high fives all ‘round,
'I want to go to uni' gets a frown.
Future and money and dreams all done,
Conversation shifts to who has the best phone.
